Since June 2015 it has joined the UP Group present with its solutions in several countries internationally among which: BRAZIL, BULGARIA, CZECH REPUBLIC, FRANCE, GERMANY, GREECE, HUNGARY, ITALY, MEXICO, MOROCCO, MOLDOVA, POLAND, PORTUGAL, ROMANIA, SLOVAKIA, SPAIN, TURKEY, TUNISIA.
In BELGIUM the activity of the company is supported by a legislation regarding social and fiscal charges and constitute extra-legal benefits that are very popular in Belgium.
As the company wants to develop a new product strategy, hence it’is now looking for a Payments Product Manager.

Position overview

Reporting
The Payments Product Manager reports to the Managing Director.

Mission
Have a vision and expertise regarding the payments markets, its main actors, "incumbents" or innovative / new, and dynamics existing in this sector Fintech.
Contribute to the development of company’s solutions in order to reinforce their qualities as differentiating actor that proposes the easiest and most innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Be the Monizze point of contact with the partners involved in Monizze's payment solution architecture
    Take advantage of Monizze's payment software to optimize their use.
  • Be pro-active in the payments market; know the current and future needs; meet innovative partners to align and stay informed
  • Formulate development proposals for Monizze solutions in line with the guidelines, be the Fintech among the competitors.
  • Develop creative solutions to implement new payments methods
  • Evaluate what the competition is doing and compare the means of payment of Monizze with those of the others
    See what's on the market, learn, analyze etc ....
  • Pay attention to payments habits
  • Issue a notice of consultation regarding new ideas and their feasibility
  • Detail new ideas
  • Customer contacts, listening to needs
  • Collaboration with marketing to develop an adequate communication, give an input in terms of segmentation of the market etc ....
  • Interaction with other functions
  • Management, marketing, sales, product management, software vendor, customers (merchants or employers), partners in the payment ecosystem

Qualifications

  • Experience and expertise in the payments market and Fintech innovations
  • Affinity and expertise information system
  • Taking initiative
  • Project management
  • Easy contact, internally and with the actors of the payment ecosystem in Belgium
  • Maturity in his communication; assertiveness
  • Analytical and creative
  • Pragmatic
  • Excellent knowledge of technical and written English
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and French
