PARTNER ANALYTICS

The Company

Our client is a fully owned subsidiary of a leading international IT services provider.
They offer end-to-end Digital Transformation Services:
Ranging from strategy to technical expertise, and implementation solutions, its consultants feature numerous skills, and have real hands-on experience on how to define actionable roadmaps and implement working Cloud solutions
In particular the company:

  • Delivers business-focused, strategic advice, and help to create an IT that matters
  • Delivers comprehensive, rational business cases, and work with you in making them become a reality
  • Helps its clients to build the bridges between current state, and digital vision
  • Relies on a strong team of business-minded consultants with real hands-on experience of Cloud transformation
  • Presently counts 25 people in France, 10 in Norway and 5 in the UK
  • To support the development in the UK, they are hiring a Partner (PA) in charge both for the Business Development (66% of his time) and the delivery (33% on project management)


Position overview

The expectation is to recruit a skilled consultant who in the due course could be promoted as Partner.
In this role the successful candidate will be in charge of the positioning the company for growth towards major target customers and players.
The executive that will be covering such important role, should be well introduced in the industry in UK and have gained credibility with a positive track record in winning new business as well as delivering towards the committed dead-lines and service quality levels.
He/she will have to lead and develop the Analytics competence center.
The profile of the above named executive, will encompass

  • Strong Leadership and Subject Matter Expertise in his domain of expertise, and a well- developed credibility in the UK Market place
  • Track record in the successful acquisition of clients with the focus on the ability to provide Business Solutions and tangible added value
  • Portfolio of existing customers and visibility of budget availability for investments with 2016
  • Orientation towards delivering compelling Value Propositions which bring effective performance improvement to client business and enable identification of opportunities in the area of revenue growth and efficiency gain


Reporting

The position reports to the Managing Director UK and VP of Cloud Computing of Sopra Steria Group


Responsibilities

The PA will have to be able to:

  • Show charisma and drive both with prospect and clients, where, thanks to his personal credibility can augment the company reach, while, at the same time, be well accepted by the existing organization
  • Demonstrate a clear “hunting attitude”, spotting out opportunities in the industry, managing the daily Business Creation, planning and executing actions aimed to increase visibility and credibility with the end-user, and in doing so, close relevant deals that will contribute to grow Volumes and Margin.
  • Manage Business Execution, ensuring that all appropriate actions are taken to deliver effectively versus clients’ expectations, by executing in a timely manner, maximizing revenue and margin of each single transaction.
  • To achieve the above, they will ensure on one hand accomplishment of the agreed objectives and milestone, while at the same time develop the relationship with key decision makers and influencers, improving both the build-up of new relationships with key individuals within Client’s Management as well as retention of the existing ones.
  • Promptly report to his direct superior any issues, as well as achievements, seeking guidance and support, as well as committing to the success of the company results.


Ideal candidate profile

The successful Executive covering this role preferably based in London, has a background and strong track record in the Consulting Services industry and in particular in the markets of Analytics of Big Data to gain relevant intelligence aimed at maximizing level of service as well as the revenue and profit opportunities.

Their profile will further include:

  • Entrepreneurial approach. His determination and professionalism will reflect in the quality of therelationship with the clients portraying a positive image of the company.
  • Experience of at least 10 years of which at least 4 involving Client Acquisition responsibility,mainly on Large Accounts, fully aware of the P&L management requirements; previous track record in successfully managing Target Key Accounts and Project Management will be essential.
  • The ideal candidate, while self-driven, hands-on and autonomous, is used to work in complex multinational environment with matrix organization both internally and within the client.
  • Customer oriented, with a proper focus on satisfaction and service, he is able, not only to understand, but actually anticipate clients requirements. Within this context, he will have to develop and position their respective portfolio of services and solutions toward the competition.
  • He is acquainted with top class market leading trends, approaches and techniques in the different offering domains, and is used to both, guide the activity in the bidding phase, while managing successful execution of the projects acquired, in order to ensure not only the orders acquisition, but also fulfilment of the customer requirements.
  • Holds a University degree, and is not only literate, bur well acquainted with the use of IT tools required to prepare documents, present elaborate and plan, communicate over Internet and Intranet, any time anywhere. He has good presentation skills and he’s English mother tongue (and ideally with knowledge of French), in order to facilitate interaction and cross fertilization with his colleagues in the whole organization.
  • A mind set and style pre-emptive of likely events, attentive and responsive to market conditions and the attitude to react speedily to maximize business returns in both the short and medium term.
  • While approaching clients and prospect with a consultative approach, he/she has to show the attitude to remain concrete, demonstrating not only a strategic view, but also the ability to drill down to the operational level when appropriate. 
  • Finally the chosen person should be able to fit within the Beamap culture, leveraging the entrepreneurial – quasi-start-up dynamic environment and management style and, in doing so, willing to commit, showing passion and dedication not only short term but also in the long run. At the same time the belonging to leading European IT Service provider such as Sopra-Steria, will instill credibility and assure long term relationships with clients.
