Meritxell is a technology and business executive with over 25 years of international experience scaling IT services, driving cloud and AI adoption, and leading digital transformation for Financial Services across EMEA.

She has held senior roles at PwC, IBM, Accenture, Roland Berger and Indra (Minsait), and has also served as CEO, CTO, and Board Member in entrepreneurial ventures. At IBM, she led large technology deals exceeding $100M and as EMEA Sales Director for IBM Cloud for Financial Services, she partnered with European regulators to ensure compliance in cloud adoption. At Minsait, she managed a €150M business portfolio, increasing bookings by +31% and gross margin by +33% through strategic renegotiations and digital transformation.

Meritxell’s entrepreneurial track record includes serving as CEO of several technology start-ups and as CTO and Board Member at YAAP, a fintech backed by CaixaBank, Santander, and Telefónica, where she pioneered early open banking and digital payments initiatives.
